The concept of the retraining of the Spitalle area in Durrës, takes inspiration from the situation of the area and its geographical orientation. The perimeter roads of the area are treated with colors on the sidewalks, urban element and surrounding walls according to the orientation, where respectively the road from the east (Shkodra Road) will have the color gradient according to the sunrise; the road from the south (Rruga Azem Hajdari) presents the gradient of the colors of the sea; the road from the west (Petrit Llaftiu Road) will have the color gradient according to the sunset and the road to the north (Shoqata e Durrës Road) will have the color gradient present according to the hills and fields that are positioned in the north of the area. While all internal roads (local roads) will be treated with a layer of asphalt and painted with the same colors as the fragment of the roads with which they are respectively perpendicular. All surrounding walls will be treated with the selected colors and with vertical greenery.
