Urban requalification consists in the urban development of public spaces in Spitalle Durrës, where all spaces are connected with residential areas, increasing the quality of life and activities. This project of requalification, a collaboration with architect Michele Cro, rose as an opportunity after the proper isolation of the canal which therefore generated a whole new public space. Special importance is given to the recreational space and the passages for bicycles. The recreational area has been developed with green areas, dunes, areas for games and sports activities. Urban elements such as benches, lighting and basic urban signage have also been added.
